Wilderness School Science Facilities

Design

Wilderness School Science and Humanities Building was a Brown Falconer project 30 years ago. This time, though, the building sits on an east-west axis, creating a natural corridor from the school’s front gate. A sculpted circular staircase makes the most of this opportunity, with amphitheatre-style seating facing lawns and more intimate seating in the curve. The project went so well that Wilderness moved on with the firm to upgrade its science labs and complete a new masterplan.
