The redevelopment of Concordia’s St John’s Campus delivers vibrant, flexible learning environments that support contemporary teaching, student wellbeing, and a strong sense of community. The design reflects the College’s identity, vision, and values while providing opportunities for students to engage, collaborate, and grow.
The project redefined the Early Learning, Junior, and Upper Primary precincts and created a connected campus that integrates previously separated areas, fostering formal and informal interactions. Wellbeing-focused spaces support the development of the whole person, while every learning area is designed as an opportunity to enhance teaching and learning. Future growth has been planned through triple-streaming, and environmental connections allow the surroundings to act as a “third teacher.”
A new three-storey Treehouse Learning Centre and a two-court gymnasium further unify the campus, offering integrated learning landscapes, specialist sport and community spaces, and shared facilities that strengthen connections across the Primary and Senior campuses. The result is a cohesive, future-focused campus where learning, wellbeing, and community are seamlessly intertwined.
