Drakes Distribution Centre

Designed and built for Australia’s largest independent supermarket chain this project is three times the size of the MCG and houses 23,000 separate product lines which are shifted by the $15million robotics system. Regardless of the size of the build, SA-owned Drakes wanted a swift outcome with minimal local traffic impact during the process. Brown Falconer worked directly with the lead contractor Unley Property Group to finish the job inside 18 months. The result is the most advanced independent distribution and logistics centre of its kind.
